HOTEL SPLENDIDE ROYAL - THE LEADING HOTELS OF THE WORLD, Rome – Your ideal downtown stay

I felt like royalty in this hotel. From the luxurious evening turn-down service to the fabulous breakfast with unforgettable views of Vatican City and the Colosseum, my stay was a mix of highs and lows. The room, with stained carpet and aged furniture, lacked some charm, but the location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps. The service, while having a rude encounter, offered excellent amenities like an exceptional terrace overlooking Villa Borghese. Dining was a bit underwhelming given the high price, but the hotel's facilities were top-notch.

The hotel offers an unforgettable experience with its comfortable and clean rooms, where you can relax with stunning views of Vatican City and the Colosseum while enjoying complimentary treats and a turned-down bed. The service was generally friendly and helpful, although a negative incident with a TV fee impacted the overall experience. The fantastic location allows easy access to major attractions, but some more guidance on local amenities could enhance the guest experience. The dining options were enjoyable, especially with beautiful views from the sixth floor. The facilities were adequate, providing a pleasant stay overall.

The dining experience offered a fantastic view over the city and a varied menu, making it one of the best dining experiences in Italy. However, the need to go downhill and then uphill for certain areas can be annoying.

The service is outstanding, particularly with Frederico standing out as a brilliant and delightful member of the team. The location is convenient for shopping and sightseeing, offering excellent views of the Roman skyline and easy access to iconic landmarks like the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The dining experience, while fantastic with superb service, could improve in terms of variety and availability of items. Overall, a capital city consideration aside, this hotel is a gem in a prime location with exceptional service and stunning views.

Stunning views of Vatican City and the Colosseum from elegantly furnished rooms with spacious marble bathrooms made my stay unforgettable. The efficient service, though lacking friendliness in some areas, still offered great knowledge of Rome's attractions. The location is amazing, being close to all major attractions in Rome. The dining on the 5th floor with a view over the city was fantastic, albeit with limited options at times.
